Fire Fighting
Protect your Life
Increasing incidents of fire due to laxity in implementing basic equipment requirements and training to handle such incidents can make it lethal.
Fire Drill - This is a simulation of how a building would be evacuated in the event of a fire or other emergencies. The building's fire alarm system is activated and the building is evacuated by means of the nearest available exits, as if a fire had actually broken out.
Training and drill exercises help residents and staff to learn their roles and responsibilities, it reduces confusion, panic, and the possibility during the time frame of the event.
Fire Fighting Equipment – Basic equipment such as fire alarms, their sensors along with fire extinguishers, fire hoses/piping and pumps need to be inspected and maintained in the event of an emergency requiring their use.
Housing societies need to submit the maintenance certificate in the form of "Form B" issued by a licensed agency stating that all fire protection systems are maintained and in a good working condition.
